The Rancho del Sol Fire Safe Council (RDSFSC) is an independent, nonprofit, community-led organization within the El Dorado County Fire Safe Council (EDCFSC). Our mission is to mobilize residents to protect their homes, property, and community from catastrophic wildfires.

The Fire Safe Council is actively seeking residents to participate because we cannot do this work without your help. Volunteers are needed to help with green waste events, common-area cleanups, education and outreach programs, fundraising, grant writing, Firewise USA® compliance and renewal, evacuation planning, and more. We welcome all members of the RDS Community.
